Ryanair to increase services from Stockholm and Gothenburg

Swedish airport operator, Swedavia, today revealed that Ryanair will launch four new routes at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport respectively this summer.

Ryanair is to expand at both Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport ahead of the summer programme 2024 and will launch four new routes.

From Stockholm Arlanda, the Irish airline will service Vilnius in Lithuania as well as the Greek island of Rhodes. At Göteborg Landvetter, Ryanair will be operating Brussels in Belgium and Rome, Italy.

“I’m delighted that Ryanair is expanding at our airports Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport,” enthused Swedavia’s aviation business director, Elizabeth Axtelius.

“Our main goal is to increase the connectivity and Ryanair’s vast network facilitates for people to meet, whether it is for business, leisure or to visit family and friends.

“Ryanair’s investment in new direct routes shows great confidence in the Swedish air travel market, and they are an important partner in us being able to offer a wide range of destinations at our airports.”

Starting on March 31, 2024, Ryanair will operate Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) – Vilnius (VNO) twice a week, and Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) – Rhodes (RHO) twice a week starting on April 2nd, 2024.

Meanwhile in Gothenburg, also starting on March 31, Gothenburg Landvetter (GOT) – Rome (FCO) will be operated three times a week and Gothenburg Landvetter (GOT) – Brussels (CRL) twice a week.
