Popular New York steakhouse opens in JFK’s Terminal 4

Hunt & Fish Club, New York’s quintessential American steakhouse, has opened an outlet in Terminal 4 at John F Kennedy International Airport.

The opening, in partnership with SSP America, is the latest restaurant to be unveiled by T4 operator JFKIAT as part of the ongoing transformation of the facility’s commercial offerings.

The revamp plan is designed to the unique and special feel of New York City’s culture straight to the terminal, elevating the passenger experience through food, beverage, and retail offerings.

Drawing inspiration from the original Manhattan flagship, the restaurant near T4’s Gate B34 is said to bring together “classic elegance, boutique sophistication, and contemporary casual dining in a polished, upscale setting for an international audience”.

Hunt & Fish Club at T4 seats 80 guests and includes an overall experience that is warm, social, and inviting, making it equally suited for a pre-flight meal, business dinner, celebratory occasion, or leisurely stop during a longer layover.

“Bringing Hunt & Fish Club to Terminal 4 is another step in our commercial programme’s transformation, giving our passengers a classic, authentic New York experience that locals and visitors alike will enjoy,” said Roel Huinink, CEO of JFKIAT.

“This restaurant embodies the hospitality-driven, New York-inspired identity we’re building into every new addition at T4.

The redevelopment of T4 is a key component of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s $19 billion transformation of JFK into a “world-class gateway” with two new terminals, two expanded and modernised terminals, a new ground transportation centre and an entirely new, simplified roadway network.
