The appointment follows a strategic partnership between Masterise Aviation Infrastructure Joint Stock Company and daa International, combining Masterise’s integrated development capability with daa International’s 85 years’ experience in the planning, delivery and operation of airports across Europe, the Middle East and the Asia‑Pacific region.

The project is said to reflect the strong and growing relationship between Ireland and Vietnam, with Gia Binh International Airport expected to act as a catalyst for deeper collaboration across aviation, transport, education, innovation, infrastructure and enterprise.

Nicholas Cole, daa deputy CEO and CEO of daa International, said: “This is a landmark project for Vietnam, and we look forward to bringing daa International’s experience and Irish aviation heritage to support the delivery of a high‑quality, future‑focused airport that sets new benchmarks for connectivity, passenger experience, and operational excellence.
