San Francisco International Airport (SFO) has achieved Level 2 status in ACI’s Airport Customer Experience Accreditation programme.
SFO first earned Level 1 accreditation in 2019 and had it renewed in 2025. This Level 2 accreditation acknowledges that SFO has demonstrated a deeper understanding of customer expectations through data analysis, journey mapping, frontline training and operational improvements.
“We are truly honoured to earn Level 2 Customer Experience Accreditation from Airports Council International,” said airport director, Mike Nakornkhet.
“Delivering an extraordinary airport experience requires continuous improvement, and ACI’s Airport Customer Experience Accreditation gives us the roadmap to pursue that goal. My thanks go out to our entire team for this latest achievement.”
The Airport Customer Experience Accreditation is a multilevel accreditation program developed by ACI to guide airports towards achieving excellence in customer experience management.
