Bahrain International Airport (BAH) has retained its 5-Star rating with SKYTRAX for a fifth successive year.

Operator, Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), believes that the award reflects its consistently high standards and continued focus on delivering “exceptional services and facilities”.

BAH’s 5-Star status is also viewed as a major achievement for the Kingdom, underscoring the airport’s role as Bahrain’s main gateway and its contribution to the country’s broader aviation, tourism, and economic development goals.

It also reflects Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence in regional and international aviation.

BAC’s acting CEO and chief of airport operations, Ahmed Mohamed Janahi, said: “Being rated 5-Star for the fifth year in a row is a moment of genuine pride for everyone at BIA.

“It reflects the dedication of our people, whose work each day upholds a world-class standard of service, and the co-operation of the broader airport community, including airlines, partners, service providers, and stakeholders who contribute to the strength of our operations.

“We remain committed to continuously enhancing service standards, efficiency, and hospitality to ensure every journey through BIA is seamless, safe, and welcoming.”

He added: “This milestone also speaks to BIA’s role as Bahrain’s gateway to the world and the airport’s contribution to national ambitions in aviation, tourism, and economic growth.

“As we look ahead, our focus remains on dependable operations, attentive service, and ongoing improvement that keeps the airport aligned with global best practices.”
