Warsaw Chopin Airport ready for Star Wars Day

Share

Warsaw Chopin Airport is embarking on an intergalactic journey ahead of this year’s Star Wars Day on May 4.

It notes that since Friday, and up until Star Wars Day itself, passengers and all visitors to its facilities will experience spectacular attractions that will transport them straight to a distant galaxy!

Poland’s capital city gateway is celebrating this year’s event in co-operation with global partners Disney, the LEGO brand and the Dressler publishing house and has opened special zones in the departure hall of Terminal AB with iconic vehicles and characters from the Star Wars universe.

After the security control zone (at Gate 1), it notes that the youngest travellers will find a unique LEGO zone, where they can spend their time creatively building their own models of spaceships.

And on International Star Wars Day on May 4, the gateway promises that all the passengers and visitors at Warsaw Chopin Airport will be treated to unforgettable attractions and references to the Star Wars universe.

On that day, for example, in the general access zone, it will build an impressive, two-metre figure of Darth Vader made entirely of LEGO bricks.

Adam Sanocki, member of the airport’s management board for strategy and marketing, enthused: “Warsaw Chopin Airport has always focused on exceptional traveller experiences. This time, we are going to a higher level and doing something absolutely unique on a global scale – on May 4, on the occasion of Star Wars Day, we are turning our airport into an Intergalactic Space Port!

“We want our passengers to feel like they are part of this iconic saga and experience something truly incredible. It will be a spectacular celebration that they will remember for a long time.”
