New sleep pods unveiled at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport

Share

GoSleep, the Finnish company behind airport sleep pods, has expanded its partnership with global wellness brand XWELL to create a new rest experience at Amsterdam Schiphol.

Now located in XWELL’s Xpres Spa location at D-Pier — a key transit hub for international departures — the newly installed GoSleep Recovery Pods offer travellers a secure, private space to recharge between flights.

“The global airport sleeping pod market is projected to grow from approximately $68 million in 2023 to over $110 million by 2033 — and this surge reflects what we see on the ground,” said Topi Piispanen, CEO of GoSleep.

“Air travel is back in full force, but so are longer layovers and unexpected delays. With passengers seeking private, tech-forward spaces to recharge, our partnership with XWELL at Schiphol couldn’t be more timely. Together, we’re building a global infrastructure for in-transit wellness.”

Each pod features a full privacy cover, mobile device charging, safe compartment for hand luggage and a clean, modern interior tailored for short rest and relaxation.

The units are delivered, installed and maintained by GoSleep engineers.
