Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) today signed a contract with Eythos to operate its planned new SKYTOPIA Art & Valuables Storage Facility.
According to AAHK, it marks a significant milestone in Hong Kong International Airport’s (HKG) transformation into an ‘Airport City’ under the SKYTOPIA blueprint.
Spanning 53,000sqft, the stand-alone and purpose-designed Art & Valuables Storage Facility at SKYTOPIA offers services in connection with art and high-value assets.
Located in an existing 2-storey building at the airport’s non-restricted area, the facility provides museum-grade storage and private viewing rooms. It is expected to commence operations in early 2027.

Airport CEO, Vivian Cheung, enthused: “The new premium Art and Valuables Storage Facility is a strategic component of SKYTOPIA’s Art Ecosystem, which will also include art appreciation and trading activities.
“Our objective is to support Hong Kong’s development as a leading global hub for art trading. The Art Ecosystem will generate strong synergies with SKYTOPIA’s other premium attractions, including the yacht bay, luxury hotels, business aviation centre as well as the art exhibition facilities at AsiaWorld-Expo, attracting global visitors, investors and cultural patrons to Hong Kong.”
Integrating art trading, entertainment, yacht and water sports facilities, popular culture and leisure facilities, SKYTOPIA features projects that capitalise the unique advantages of Hong Kong and leverage the land and marine resources near HKG positioning it as a world class destination for global travellers and local residents.
After the Art & Valuables Storage Facility, later this year AAHK will commence the expression of interest exercise for the development of SKYTOPIA’s water-themed projects, which will include the largest marina in Hong Kong that supports a wide range of yachting and marine leisure activities.
Eythos is a specialised art storage operator providing service with facilities in Hong Kong and Seoul.
It has served as the official logistics partner for major international art events, such as Art Basel Hong Kong, and demonstrated substantial industry recognition and sustained growth momentum.
