Hamburg Airport expands its landside dining options

Hamburg Airport is expanding its F&B offerings in the public area of Terminal 2 with the opening of the new ‘Knotenpunkt’ restaurant.

Located on the Arrivals level, the Marché Mövenpick operated outlet now is expected to prove popular with travellers, meeters and greeters, and airport employees.

“With the new ‘Knotenpunkt’ food spot, we are developing the gastronomic offer at our airport in a targeted manner,” explained Lutz Deubel, head of center management at Hamburg Airport.

“With high-quality coffee specialities, hot dishes and freshly tapped beer, we are creating a gastronomic offer for the whole day – whether for a quick snack, a short break or to wait for arriving guests.

“In this way, we are creating a new meeting place in the public area of the airport.”

According to the gateway, the modern concept picks up on typical North German elements and creates a cosy meeting place for all those who arrive, wait or simply want to enjoy a short break.
