The newly relocated landside Caffè Nero at Birmingham Airport has quickly become a popular pit stop for passengers, according to the UK gateway.
Having been a popular part of the airport’s food and beverage offering for more than a decade, the store’s new relocation has arguably made it even more visible to visitors.
Indeed, BHX states that its new location offers a brighter, more spacious environment, featuring generous indoor seating with the addition of an outdoor seating area, giving customers the option to enjoy their food and drinks in the fresh air.
Early trading figures indicate the relocated café has been warmly welcomed by customers, reflecting continued demand for high-quality food and drink options throughout the airport terminal.
Richard Gill, BHX’s commercial director, enthused: “It’s great to see Caffè Nero making such a positive start in its new home. The brand has been a valued partner at Birmingham Airport for many years, so it’s fantastic to see customers embracing this new space so quickly.
“The relocation has created a much more welcoming environment, with additional indoor seating and an outdoor area where customers can relax before or after their journey, which is proving particularly popular on sunny days.”
The move from its previous location is part of the airport’s ongoing investment in improving its catering facilities for passengers.
