Share

The upward traffic trend in Sweden continued In March, with close to 2.6 million passengers passing through Swedavia’s ten airports.

In total, air travel increased by just over 5% compared to March 2025 as demand grew for both international and domestic air travel.

As a result, international travel registered a 5% increase over the same month a year ago, and domestic travel increased by 6%.

Although developments varied locally between airports, almost all airports – with the exception of Kiruna – showed an increase.

Swedavia notes that although international traffic was affected “to some extent by the situation in the Middle East”, overall the development was positive.
