Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) has implemented Xovis’ fully managed passenger flow management service AERO to help reduce wait times and enhance the passenger experience at its terminal.
According to Xovis, the Florida gateway needed a robust system capable of addressing today’s passenger flow challenges and those of tomorrow.
“With accurate, real-time data from Xovis, we can continue to deliver top-notch service to the growing number of passengers that pass through our terminal,” Greg Willis, spokesperson for Jacksonville Aviation Authority.
JAX is the latest in a growing number of terminals of different sizes and complexity that use the Xovis solution.
More than 120 airports – including some of the busiest and best in North America – rely on objective, real-time data captured by Xovis sensors to reduce wait times, improve cost management, optimize staff allocation and maximise terminal performance.
“AERO is an ideal solution for airports that want to relieve data management pressure, increase passenger throughput and optimise terminal efficiency,” stated Xovis’ chief produce officer, Florian Eggenschwiler.
“Working with JAX to achieve all three objectives, and more, is what keeps us motivated. North America remains an important market for Xovis, and the interest we see from airports in different regions, including the Southeast US, is encouraging.”
