Milas-Bodrum Airport greeted its first international passengers of the year when an Azur Air flight from Moscow touched down in Turkey yesterday.
The flight, which was met by a traditional water salute, brought 212 passengers from Moscow Vnukovo to Bodrum.
TAV Milas-Bodrum’s general manager, İclal Kayaoğlu, said: “We are happy to welcome the first international passengers of the summer season at our airport.
“All necessary precautions against the COVID-19 pandemic are taken at our airport. In collaboration with our stakeholders, we’re working to provide a safe and comfortable travel experience.
“While the uncertainties around travel restrictions persist, we are hoping to increase our passenger traffic this season compared to 2020. We’re looking forward to welcoming our guests from all around the world.”
Milas-Bodrum Airport is a signatory to the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) charter and holds ACI Airport Health Accreditation.
