Celebrity chef, Jamie Oliver, paid a flying visit to Jamie’s Deli at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport this week, to the delight of excited staff.
The renowned chef took time out to speak with colleagues about their work and hear about the latest developments at the outlet.
Jamie’s Deli at Schiphol Airport is a partnership between THE JAMIE OLIVER GROUP and SSP Group, a leading operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations worldwide.
SSP Group operates 15 Jamie Oliver concepts – from bars to restaurants – in Austria, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain and the UK, with further units to open in Bahrain and Brazil.
In June, the group strengthened its partnership with Jamie Oliver after agreeing to take over operations of his three units at Gatwick Airport – Jamie’s Italian, Jamie’s Coffee Lounge and Jamie Oliver’s Diner.
Commenting on the visit, Jamie Oliver said: “It was fantastic to pop in and say hello to the Jamie’s Deli team at Schiphol Airport.
“It’s always such a pleasure to meet, and get a chance to chat to staff on the ground, who work hard to bring our menus to life.”
