A little taste of Mexico has come to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) with the opening of Cantina taqueria and tequila bar.
Located in Concourse C, the new Cantina taqueria and tequila bar is said to be reminiscent of a local street side Mexican taqueria.
According to concessionaire, Fraport Cleveland, the “warm and inviting 2,700-square-foot space” features colourful mosaic accent tiles, glass chandelier lighting” and boasts authentic and bright Mexican flavours.
Specialties include a variety of street tacos, burritos, enchiladas, as well as freshly made desserts like churros rellenos, and breakfast items.
Cantina taqueria and tequila bar has been joined by another new F&B offering, 800 Degrees Woodfired Kitchen.
Located in Concourse A, the recently opened 800 Degrees Woodfired Kitchen is said to have a unique approach to the art of cooking with fire.
Known for its craft pizzas, the LA-born rotisserie claims to bring fire kissed flavours to sandwiches, salads, and appetizers.
“We’re excited to introduce two dining concepts that offer loads of appetising dishes for diners at the airport,” says Tina LaForte, vice president for Fraport Cleveland.
“From 800 Degrees’ woodfired creations to Cantina’s Mexican specialties, they each bring new flavour profiles to the airport.”
CLE has welcomed several new restaurants in the last year, including Panini’s Bar & Grill, Embers Fire & Ice Bar, Shake Shack, and Wow Bao, making it a frequent stop with more choices for hungry fliers.
“These new additions offer a range of appetizing dining options,” notes Cleveland Hopkins International Airport director, Robert Kennedy.
“We are thrilled to welcome these new establishments and offer our airport guests more variety while they are at the airport.”
