Amsterdam Schiphol reports positive February traffic figures

Amsterdam Schiphol today announced that it handled 4.6 million passengers in February – a healthy 22% rise on the same month a year ago.
Around 3.2 million passengers arrived from or flew to a destination in Europe, meaning that 1.4 million passengers travelled between Amsterdam and a intercontinental destination outside Europe.
The United Kingdom was the most popular destination, followed by Spain, Italy, Turkey and the United States.
The airport accommodated 35,104 aircraft movements during the month, a rise of 24% compared to February 2023.
The number of all-cargo flights handled at AMS in February was the same as the corresponding month last year, however, cargo volumes soared 12% to 121,853 tonnes.
