A new casual dining experience has landed at Edinburgh Airport as Giraffe opened its doors to passengers today.
The restaurant is the latest to join the airport’s food and beverage offering and will serve an extensive all-day menu, including international cuisines from Asian street food to classic American burgers.
Located near Gate 6, the restaurant offers 179 seats in a modern and relaxed space, designed to accommodate a broad mix of passengers, including families, leisure travellers and business travellers.
Giraffe will also offer a takeaway service, Giraffe Stop, with a dedicated grab and go area allowing passengers to pick up freshly prepared food and snacks to enjoy on the move or take on board their flight.

Edinburgh Airport’s chief commercial officer, Stephanie Wear, said: “We know people are hungry to travel and we want to cater for that. Bringing Giraffe to the airport adds to the strong family offer of food and drink options we have for passengers.
“With both a full-service restaurant and a convenient takeaway option, it gives passengers international cuisine with flexibility and choice – and full stomachs before heading off on that well-earned break.”
Richard Pigott, managing director of Giraffe, noted: “Airports are all about discovery and adventure, which makes Edinburgh the perfect location for Giraffe as a brand built around flavours from around the world.”
