iGA Istanbul Airport has launched a new âIstanbulitesâ exhibition featuring human landscapes through the eyes of Venezuelan artist JesĂșs Briceño Reyes.
Organised in collaboration with contemporary art platform Zarastro Art and İGA ART, the exhibition shows just how seriously iGA is taking its mission to become a leading centre for culture.
Open for visitors between June 5 and July 31 at the İGA ART Gallery in iGA Istanbul Airport International Terminal, Briceño Reyesâs exhibition mirrors the lives of Istanbul locals.

Reyes claims that he wants âto make us pause and think, to allow us to look more deeply into the human experience, different cultures and the worldâ.
He invites visitors to look more closely at the interactions between Istanbulites, the city, and their daily lives.
Highlights of the exhibition are said to include pieces depicting public outdoor and indoor spaces, displaying the subjectâs interaction with the world around them and with each other.
In the indoor works, the artist focuses on the different types of people we can see in travelling throughout the city.
