MAJOR NEW CHINESE AIRPORT CONTRACTS FOR CAVOTEC

China’s Chengdu Tianfu and Beijing Capital airports have chosen Cavotec to provide them with €3 millon worth of new ground support equipment (GSE) and fuelling orders.
For Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, Cavotec will supply a range of fuelling and electrical power connection systems including valve access covers, boarding bridge cable coilers, 400Hz output power cables, and 400Hz aircraft connectors.
While at Beijing Capital International Airport, it is to supply more than 100 coilers units, service cables and 400Hz connectors at the airport’s three terminals. This order also includes a service package for the installation and commissioning of the equipment.
Earlier this week, the company announced €5 million worth of orders for 100 aviation fuelling pits for two installations, one in the US and one in Europe.
“Our comprehensive range of innovative GSE ensure aircraft are serviced safely, efficiently and sustainably at gates, maintenance facilities and remote aprons are recognised by customers all over the world,” said Cavotec Airports & Industry president, Juergen Strommer.
