Dispute resolved at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport

Share

It has been announced that Porter Airlines and Nieuport have “amicably resolved their outstanding disputes and litigation” relating to terminal fees at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.

In autumn 2022, the owner of the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (BBTCA) passenger terminal, Nieuport Aviation Infrastructure Partners GP, obtained judgment against Porter Airlines Inc relating to terminal fees at BBTCA.

That judgment was under appeal by Porter, but late last week Porter and Nieuport announced that they had amicably resolved the issue, the terms of which are undisclosed.

“We have an unwavering commitment to our valued passengers who choose to use the award-winning Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport for its world-class experience,” says Neil Pakey, president and CEO, Nieuport Aviation Infrastructure Partners GP.

“We are pleased to see a resolution to this matter.”
