CEO, Mignon Buckingham, charts the company’s airport journey from inception to innovation in global lounge experiences.

Airport Dimensions made its debut in the airport lounge market in 2006, establishing its first ‘The Club’ location in the United States at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

Since then, it has grown into a global leader in delivering elevated traveller experiences that are carefully tailored to market needs.

The company was founded to grow and transform airport experiences, providing welcoming spaces where travellers can relax, recharge or work in comfort. Nearly two decades later, that vision continues to drive Airport Dimensions’ dynamic expansion and evolution across the globe.

Airport Dimensions is a part of the Collinson Group, benefitting from the group’s global expertise in traveller experiences, loyalty and customer engagement.

The company’s most recent milestone came in June 2025, with the opening of two new spaces at Jorge Chávez International Airport’s brand new terminal in Lima, Peru: The Club LIM and Sleepover.

Building on seven pre-existing joint venture locations, the launch of The Club LIM and Sleepover marks not only Airport Dimensions’ first wholly owned operation in South America but also the international debut of ‘The Club’ outside the US.

The Club LIM is one of the largest in the portfolio, thoughtfully designed to reflect local Peruvian culture through curated artwork, authentic cuisine, and a mix of social and private zones for every type of traveller.

Complementing it is Sleepover, the reimagined version of the company’s sleep ‘n fly concept, providing a premium, flexible rest experience with private cabins, ergonomic recliners, and showers – Peru’s only airport sleep facility of its kind.

These new spaces in Lima form part of a broader global network. Airport Dimensions currently operates 83 airport lounges and experiences – including those in development – across North America, South America, Asia Pacific, UK and the Middle East.

Partnering with nearly 50 airports, multiple airlines, and lounge partners such as Blue Sky Group in Indonesia, SASCO in Vietnam and SSP and TFS in Hong Kong, the company delivers award-winning hospitality services to millions of travellers each year.

Recent accolades include Best Lounge Experience 2025 for The Club SFO and the World’s Leading Airport Lounge 2024 for Club Aspire at Heathrow.

From its very first location to the present day, Airport Dimensions has continually evolved its lounge concept. While the earliest lounges focused on offering comfort and respite from the terminal, today’s lounges and experiences are immersive environments that reflect local culture, promote sustainability, and integrate new technologies that enhance the passenger journey at every touchpoint.

This includes cutting edge technologies such as the Connecta+ platform which unifies physical and digital services to unlock new revenue streams for their airport partners by boosting passenger spend, deepening traveller relationships, all by enhancing engagement and optimising passenger experiences across every touchpoint of their airport journey.

As travel resumes robust growth, especially in emerging markets, Airport Dimensions is committed to redefining the future of airport hospitality.

By combining physical comfort, cultural authenticity, and cutting-edge technology its lounges are not just places to pass time – they’re an integral part of the journey, bolstering traveller experiences and non-aeronautical revenues for its airport partners.
