Heinemann Duty Free has opened three new sales spaces with new concepts at Hamburg Airport.
Several shops in the Pier and Airport Plaza have been remodelled since the start of the year, providing visitors with a new shopping experience at its home base airport.
According to Heinemann, the new outlets boast a modern design, fresh product range and a host of new brands.
“At Hamburg Airport, we never sit still in our commitment to provide passengers with an optimal travel experience and a maximum of comfort,” says the airport’s head of centre management, Lutz Deubel. “And this, of course, includes a colourful range of shopping options.
“We have been in partnership with Gebr Heinemann for many years, and the company has a great deal of experience and awareness of customer needs.
“We are thrilled about the fresh new design that the shops are now presenting — along with even more products and offers for customers to discover.”
Jan Richter, purchasing director for fashion and accessories at Gebr.Heinemann, says” “We are proud to open these new developed Fashion & Accessories and Watches & Jewellery (FAWJ) multi-brand concepts at our home base in Hamburg.
“The goal for us is to create an exciting and outstanding environment to surprise and please or customers. It is part of the Heinemann FAWJ Strategy to roll out the concept globally, but always linked to the individual local requirements and local sense.”
Gebr Heinemann’s Destination Hamburg concept store is now located in the Airport Plaza at Hamburg Airport with a regional design atmosphere offering typical Hamburg souvenirs such as from St Pauli, HSV and Gin Sul.
A shop with a similar range was previously located adjacent to Gate B53.
The relocation places the shop in an even more prominent location, easily accessible for passengers directly after the central security checkpoint in the Airport Plaza.
Also in the Airport Plaza is the remodelled Heinemann Duty Free, where Gebr Heinemann sell premium sunglasses from numerous luxury designer brands including Gucci, Dior, Prada, Tom Ford, Saint Laurent, Miu Miu, Dolce e Gabbana and Ray Ban.
At the third location, close to Gate A18, Heinemann has launched its innovative “FAWJ” (“Fashion Accessories Watches Jewellery”) concept, selling bags, leather goods, jewellery and watches in a range of price categories from brands including Longchamp, Coach, Longines, Breitling, Tag Heuer, Tissot, Swatch and Swarovski.
The new shop concepts offer customers the price benefit of Heinemann’s duty-free pricing.
